Sunday School Songs

Following the success of Zulu Nursery Rhymes and Mzansi Lullabies, Rainbow Nation Kids returns with their most joyful and nostalgic release yet: Sunday School Songs—a vibrant 15-track album that reimagines the beloved hymns and sing-alongs that shaped our earliest spiritual memories.

Produced by the dynamic duo Lungi Naidoo and Ryan Sackanary, the album brings together a colourful blend of languages—English, Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaans, and Portuguese—to reflect the beautiful diversity of our South African and global communities. With special guest vocalists Anathi Mobo and Tanya Da Silva, the songs burst with warmth, energy, and meaning, creating something timeless for children and adults alike.

Whether it’s for quiet reflection, joyful dancing, or family sing-alongs, Sunday School Songs is more than music—it’s a celebration of faith, identity, and childhood innocence. Each track is a reminder of the values we hold dear: kindness, gratitude, love, and unity.

Album artwork by the incredibly talented @paper__tales, bringing the spirit of the songs to life with heartwarming illustrations that reflect children from all walks of life.

At its core, this album is a reflection of the Rainbow Nation spirit—where every child, every voice, and every background matters. It’s a love letter to where we come from and a joyful promise of the future we're building together. Because faith, fun, and family should always have a soundtrack.

"Attending Sunday School as a kid was my favourite part of Sundays," shares Lungi. "Learning Bible verses and singing those songs felt like being at school—but better. This album is inspired by those memories, and by the joy and comfort they still bring today."
